Surviving small children's programming

Hi, I'm Stella and I'm a mom of a toddler.

(waits for the chorus of all the other parents in the group)

Motherhood has been a great adventure and while getting used to diapers, spit up and the rest really wasn't hard for me to adjust to there was one stand out- small children's tv programming. It took me awhile to find something that would amuse the Little Owl while she snarfed down her oatmeal and didn't make me want to bang my head on the wall. There are only so many squeaky voices and face palm worthy plot lines I can take! Luckily for Little Owl her daddy, the Nerd King, seems to be far more in touch with his inner child and has been able to pick a couple favorites we can all stand.

This has also lead to some very amusing conversations because while the shows are utterly entertaining to those under 4 there are some logical inconsistencies that boggle the mind and trying to make sense of them has made this viewing experience far more entertaining! A sense of humor makes everything easier right?

So welcome to Cartoonitis (thanks Doc Mcstuffins) where we ramble about the silliness in cartoons that makes them as amusing for the adults as the littles!
